If you are looking for a wonderful and adventurous way to spend your holidays in Kenya, it would be fun to choose camping tents located on certain terrains with a beautiful picturesque view of the lawns and mountain ranges. At night, you’ll watch them play around the drinker while enjoying a sumptuous dinner and party. There are several camps with tents scattered throughout the reserves and parks, along rivers, cliffs, hills and mountain peaks. These tent camps have good beds, bathrooms and showers, while others are so luxurious that they will offer furniture, hot showers and beds that only wood a five star hotel. Here I would like to list the various places where you can enjoy the comfort of tent camps. My list may not be exhaustive, but it can serve as a guide for those who would like to live in tent camps while on vacation in Kenya.
Amboseli National Park has tent camps and cottages where you can have an unobstructed view of the mountain. Kilimanjaro. Wild animals are protected by a fence that revolves around the camp, making it safe to watch games and walk at night. These tent camps are a complete contrast to the more luxurious cottages in the Amboseli hut, the Tortilis campsite, the Amboseli Serena hut and the Ol Tukai lodge, where you will be treated to well-kept gardens, a bitter view of Mt. Kilimanjaro, swimming pools and enough facilities make your stay very pleasant and spiritually useful. But of course, if you’re traveling at great prices, you can try the Namanga River Hotel, Campi ya Kazi or Nyati Safari camp, all with beautiful campsites in tents set up under acacia trees, giving you the advantage of a beautiful scenic view of Mt. Kilimanjaro.
Tsavo National Park offers a wide range of wildlife and birds in dense vegetation, swamps, extraordinary hills, volcanic caves and huge rocks. Here you will find campsites with tents with basic facilities such as running water, bathrooms, mosquito nets, bedding and toilets. Unlike Amboseli, they will have to arrange lunch and dinner at nearby hostels and hotels. However, several of them have luxury camps with tents, but they are expensive to rent. There are good places to organize camps with tents like Safari Camp Severin in Mombasa, Safari Camp Voyager at the Gates of Zimani, Safari Camp Finch Hatton located on the west side of Tsavo National Park and Camp Satao on the banks of the Voi River
This list would not be complete without a reference to the Kenyan city of Mombasa on the coast. In this city there is the Simba Hills National Park, where you can catch elephants, antelopes and zebras grazing on the lawns, the sandy beaches of Malinda, the Watamu Marine National Park and the old town of Lamu. You are sure to be treated to the best tent camps at Makurumuji Tented Camp in Simba Hills National Park, Shompole Camp on Lake Magadi that offers a jacuzzi to keep you cool from the warm breeze.
One thing about camping with tents is the amount of backpack you have to carry, which is a bit bulky, but that shouldn’t undermine the benefits that camping camps with tents have. You will definitely be able to save a lot of money that you can invest in many ways, whether you eat with five stars or buy antique Masai lingerie, traditional items and the like. It should also be important to appreciate the fact that living in tent camps teaches you and makes you independent. It is very interesting to see men and women who do not do housework on all the cleaning boards while they are in the camps.
